T3 Week 2
Two groups of friends are sharing chocolate bars. Image result for picture of moro bar
Each group wants to share the chocolate bars fairly so every person gets the same amount and no chocolate remains.
In the first group of friends, four students receive three chocolate bars. How much chocolate did each person get in the first group?
In the second group of friends, eight students are given six chocolate bars. How much chocolate did each person get?
Which group of students got more chocolate?
  1. GROUP
The answer is 3-4:
This is how we worked it out :
There is 4 students and 3 chocolate bars, so you half the bars into four pieces in each chocolate bars. and share it  between four people leaving them with 3 pieces out of 3 so they get 3-4.


The Answer is 6-8:
This is how we worked it out :
There is 8 student and 6 chocolate bars, and you half the pieces into seven pieces so that everyone can have ⅛ each and the remaining is left is 6/8 which is the answer. 6-8
